Because we have scheduling freedom, a tailored curriculum, and a very small student to teacher ratio, we can complete the same amount of bookwork the schools do (and often more), in only half the time that they do. This leaves several hours for outdoor adventures, and many opportunities for soaking up the sun and breathing in fresh air!

    If we didn’t homeschool, my son wouldn’t get to spend 4+ hours a day (on average) outside. What a great thing to be able to offer a budding scientist!
